One of the primary responsibilities of an architectural designer is to create detailed drawings and blueprints that illustrate the proposed design. They use their knowledge of math's, science, construction and design to create designs that both look good and are efficient to build. These designers aim to balance functionality, comfort, safety and cost in a building design, while collaborating with clients.
So how do they do this?
By using CAD (Computer Aided Design) software to produce design plans for management and client approval. CAD can be used to produce 2 or 3 dimensional models of parts, materials or buildings.
